Following the work of Goku’s ‘Laaitie Mic Praat’ – the Vredenburg rap group known as War3 Karakt3rz has set their minds on putting together a full colaborative project.
Earlier in the year Goku set blaze to the industry with the banger ‘We Made It’. The song which features War3 Karakt3rz own Lazy B & a few blocks away Twistyle Muzik’s Big Twist, quickly recieved recognisition from the public, and could even be considered one of the groups best releases to date.
Those who aren’t familar with the group would be interested to know that they’ve actually came a long way, as these group menbers also form part of an ethusatic Hip-Hop dance crew known as the Major Playaz Dancers. The crew has won various local trophees and has even auditioned for shows such as on e.tv‘s ‘Step Up or Step Out 2’
With an Afrikaans dominated audience in the underground industry, their lyrics have reflected the nature of their fans and their own, staying true to what best defines them and embracing the culture in which they started. With this in tact they’ve managed to also release songs in both languages and reflect different perspectives of Hip-Hop music. With a series of music videos their aim of entertaining audiences has steadly increased as they keep releases comming.
The music video ‘Wie Sal’ (another great song) sees the group’s colaborative efforts at work. With shows and songs on their list of things to do, the group aims to move the public and dominate the scene lacking an interested audience.
As they yet aim to represent the West Coast even more, their new project ‘Bruin Box’ might see an uprise in things. The release date yet to be announced, but be on the look out as regular releases are made by the group.
