Saldanha Bay rap artist, Junio A!, part member of rising Hip-Hop duo, Ill Scripts, has released a rather more matured response in their “Saldanha-St Helena Bay” rivalry with Wolf Pact artist, Major. His latest solo release “Back To Rap (Gevarlik Response)” is a conversational reply to the St Helena Bay rapper’s single “Gevarlik“, which has accumulated 8,930 downloads thus far on DataFileHost since it’s official online release in February last year.

“Ek is al moeg van die engels se k*k”, this is a line the Wolf Pact artist allegedly used covertly in reference to Scripts. The line is sampled as an intro to “Back To Rap” before Junio A! bluntly complaints. “I’m tired of your nonsense, you can’t even rap, I’m serious…” he denotes – going as far to make reference to Major’s older-brother Bizzy. “Your bro better than you” the rapper states.
Fortunately, unlike Ill Scripts’ 2012 debut record, “Ons Is Bev*k“, the first diss record exchanged between the two parties, Junio thereafter unfolds with resilience; remaining composed, yet relentless as he raises his argument in the presence of his listeners. References to a squeaky and pompous tone of Major’s sound, the age difference between the two, the Wolf Pact artist’s financial status in respect to his unchanging wardrobe along with blows to his inability to fight are all themes the Ill Scripts’ rapper pinpoints against the credibility of Major’s musical career.
“Back to Rap” is currently on 1,160 downloads since it’s online debut in August last year. Ill Scripts’ latest mixtape “High School Dreams” is currently available for stream and download on AudioMack.
